Quarterly Message:
July 2008
Summer has finally arrived. The south region has many outdoor activities planned for au pairs and host families, including picnics, nights of baseball, excursions to the swamps, and evenings of listening to live music. Even a night-time laser light show is in the works!
Host family events are planned for early fall, so please make plans to join the clusters for a unique opportunity of cultural sharing.
Au pairs continue to look at education. Summertime is certainly a challenging time to try to complete the educational requirements, but summer school schedules offer the opportunity to compact a lot of hours into a relatively short time.
Summertime is also a great time to spend outdoors. Please review pool and heat safety, put on sunscreen, and wear hats!
Hopefully, there will be lots of opportunities to enjoy the long balmy summer evenings!

information with the counselors in the southwest region, and supporting
marketing efforts in the area are the main responsibilities of a
regional representative. Barbara will attend meetings with the six
other regional representatives several times a year in Stamford,
CT to give feedback from the field, to learn future plans of the
company, and to share ideas.
